Glasgow Police Department hosts Faith & Blue cookout at Gorin Park
GLASGOW, Ky. – The Glasgow Police Department made their way to Gorin Park Friday afternoon for a fun community event.
The Faith and Blue cookout allowed visitors to have lunch and talk with police officers.
A bounce house and face painting were available for the kids, while hot dogs and chips were provided.
Glasgow police officers say they were honored to be able to spend the afternoon with the community.
“We’re very fortunate to try to to build that bond with the community and the police department and we continue to do that from year to year,” major Terry Flatt with Glasgow PD says.
This meetup is part of National Faith and Blue Weekend, which aims to build better relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve.
