Glasgow Police Chief announces retirement
GLASGOW, Ky.- Glasgow’s police chief has announced he’s retiring from the force.
Chief Guy Howie announced to his staff on Monday that he will soon be stepping down.
Howie, who has been chief since October 2015, told WNKY he wants to spend more time with his grandchildren.
Howie has spent nearly four decades in law enforcement. It remains unclear when his last day will be.
Glasgow’s mayor is already looking for a replacement.
