Glasgow police arrest man on drug possession charges, serve active warrant

GLASGOW, Ky. – A man is facing drug possession charges.

A Glasgow police department officer located a man on Columbia Avenue with an active warrant on Tuesday.

The man is identified as Steven Smith, 47.

The officer says Smith was in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Smith was arrested and charged with possession drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, possession control substance 1st degree 3rd or > offense (methamphetamine).

Smith was also served an active warrant. He is lodged at the Barren County Detention Center.
