Glasgow police arrest man accused of burglarizing home and assaulting man inside

GLASGOW, Ky.- A man is behind bars in Barren County after police in Glasgow said he burglarized a residence and assaulted a man inside.

According to police, officers responded to a burglary call Wednesday on McGrah Avenue.

Investigators said Elijahwon Hunn, 30, forced himself inside the home and assaulted a man inside. Police have not released the medical condition of the man who police said was assaulted.

Hunn was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary and fourth-degree assault.

He was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center and is being held on a $5,000 bond.
