Glasgow man charged with trafficking cocaine and methamphetamine

GLASGOW, Ky.- Drug Task Force members in Barren County have arrested a man accused of trafficking in cocaine and methamphetamine.

The arrest was made Saturday by the Barren River Drug Task Force, Barren County Sheriff’s Office and the Glasgow Police Department.

Those authorities executed a search warrant at a residence on Wells Road in Glasgow based on a drug investigation.

Inside, authorities said they located a large amount of suspected crystal meth, suspected cocaine, suspected marijuana, prescription pills, a handgun and cash.

Authorities arrested James Kingery, 46.

Kingery is charged with numerous crimes, including first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance-cocaine and methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and endangering the welfare of a minor.

Kingery is being held in the Barren County Detention center on a $35,000 bond.
