Glasgow man charged with DUI following traffic stop

GLASGOW, Ky. – A Glasgow man is facing charges following a traffic stop on Monday.
According to the Glasgow Police Department, officers conducted a traffic stop on North Broadway Street after the vehicle disregarded a stop sign.
The driver was identified as Richard Morgan, 63, of Glasgow.
Police say they learned Morgan was under the influence following field sobriety tests.
Officers say they also located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia during a vehicle search.
Morgan was arrested and charged with disregarding stop sign, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a substance, first offense, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
