Glasgow man charged with drug possession

GLASGOW, Ky. – A Glasgow man is facing multiple charges, including drug possession.

According to the Glasgow Police Department, on Wednesday, Aug. 5, officers responded to the area of the 3300 block of Veterans Outer Loop for a suspicious person complaint.

Police say they located a male subject, later identified as 33-year-old Steven D. Haley of Glasgow.

Authorities say they determined Haley was impaired and searched his backpack, revealing syringes and methamphetamine.

Officers say Haley was arrested and charged with public intoxication – controlled substance (excludes alcohol), first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
