Glasgow man arrested on assault charges

GLASGOW, Ky. – A man was arrested Sunday after the Glasgow Police Department responded to an assault.
On Sunday, May 1 at around 7:26 p.m., officers responded to McGrah Avenue in reference to an assault.
Police said the victim said Joshua Lewis, 41, of Glasgow assaulted them after they had a verbal dispute. The victim drove in their own vehicle for medical treatment.
Lewis was arrested and charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree assault (minor injury).
Lewis was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
