Glasgow man arrested, found hiding in basement following a fight

GLASGOW, Ky. – A Glasgow man was found hiding in a basement after reports of physical altercation.

On Sunday, the Glasgow Police Department responded to Simmental Lane in reference to a fight call, according to a release.

Upon arrival, Officers determined that the suspect identified as Kevin Norman fled from the scene and was hiding in the basement of another residence. Officers located Norman and also located Methamphetamine that he attempted to hide, according to a release.

Kevin K. Norman of Glasgow Ky., was arrested and charged with possession control substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (Methamphetamine), tampering with physical evidence, possession of firearm by convicted felon and possession drug paraphernalia.

The arrest was made by Officer John Warnock, assisted by Sgt. Michael Burgan and Lieutenant Jabin McGuire.
