Glasgow man arrested after victim shot in leg, police say
GLASGOW, Ky. – A Glasgow man has been arrested after police say a shooting occurred Thursday.
The Glasgow Police Department says they investigated a shooting on Woodlawn Street in Glasgow. GPD detectives responded to TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, where the victim was treated and released for gunshot wound, police say.
Once authorities arrived, they say they learned a fight had taken place between the victim and Cedrick R. Moore, 42, of Glasgow.
Detectives determined the victim had been shot in the left leg as a result, police say.
Moore was arrested and faces charges of first-degree assault (domestic violence), possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (methamphetamine) and drug paraphernalia – buy/possess.
He remains in the Barren County Detention Center.
