Glasgow man accused of not complying with sex offender registry

GLASGOW, Ky.- A Glasgow man is behind bars after police said he was not complying with the sex offender registry.

Charles Young, 57, was arrested on North Franklin Street on Monday. Police said after further investigation, it was determined that Young was non-compliant with the sex offender registry.

Young was arrested and charged with failure to comply with sex offender registration.

According to the registry, Young was previously charged in Barren County with three counts of first-degree sexual abuse.

Young was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center and is being held on a $2,500 bond.
