Glasgow man accused of molesting child

GLASGOW, Ky. – Police charged a Glasgow man Tuesday with molesting a child.

Sgt. Ashley Jones conducted an investigation after receiving information that Gary Lance Jewell, 66, of Glasgow, was accused of sexual activity with a minor, according to a release from Glasgow Police Department. There were numerous allegations of incidents between 2018 and 2021.

Jewell was charged with incest-victim under 12 years or serious physical injury and first-degree sexual abuse. He was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.

His bond is set at $150,000, according to online jail records.
