Glasgow library to temporarily close for inventory management

GLASGOW, Ky. – A Glasgow library is set for a temporary closure.

According to a social media post, Mary Wood Weldon Memorial Public Library will close from August 13 through August 31 for inventory management.

The library will remove older and damaged materials, take inventory, and make room for new additions to our collection.

Online resources will remain available to the public.

The library says the book drop will close and no late fees will be charged during the closure.

Any library programs scheduled for August will take place as scheduled in the community meeting room, according to the post.
