Glasgow Independent schools preparing to welcome students back for everyday classes

GLASGOW Ky.- From hybrid to in-person, a local school district will soon look to make the transition to having students in the building every day.

Glasgow Independent Schools will have all schools in the district return to in-person instruction every day starting March 8. Students who opt to continue distant learning are still given the option to do so.

As of now, the schools are operating on a hybrid blue and white schedule, where only a handful of students are in school on blue days, with another group in on white days.

Feb. 1, the district’s elementary schools will have students in person, in class every day. Starting March 1, the middle school will have students every day. The high school will start with all students March 8.

The safety guidelines in place right now will remain the same when students return, including temperature checks at the door, and lockers will not be used.
