Glasgow Independent Schools begin to welcome students back

GLASGOW, Ky.- Monday was the day a local school district was anticipating for a while.

The Glasgow Independent School District began to welcome students back in person.

Students are returning in groups of grade level. At Glasgow High School, Monday was the freshman return.

While there, students learned about the safety protocols in place to try to prevent the spread of COVID. Some changes include the hallways having directional arrows.

Lockers will not be used, so students are asked to bring their backpacks. Lunch will be eaten in the classrooms to avoid gathering in the cafeteria.

At the high school, Tuesday is the sophomore return day, and Thursday will be for juniors and seniors.
