Glasgow elementary school Beta competes at national level

GLASGOW, Ky. – Red Cross Elementary School in Glasgow has some success to celebrate after the National Elementary Beta Convention.
According to fifth-grade teacher and Beta sponsor Shana Vincent, the school competed with 16 other states in Louisville, Kentucky.
At the competition, Aubrey Blythe placed second in sculpture. In painting, Sydney Pedigo scored ninth place.
A team including Creed Collier, Brentley Coulter, Ross Harlow and Parker Nunn earned 10th place in elementary engineering.
Cash Miller additionally won as outgoing National Beta president, while Annalee Hoggard and Lane Smith won as premier performers.
Finally, Jaxson Gregory, Cash Miller, Jaxson Pierce and Jaquavion Lewis won 9th place in junior engineering.
