Glasgow crash leaves 3 injured

GLASGOW, Ky. – The Glasgow Police Department investigated a two-vehicle crash over the weekend.

Major Terry Flatt says officers responded to a call for an injury accident at the intersection of West Main Street and S L Roger Wells Boulevard on Saturday.

Officers say a car, driven by Bertie Marting, was traveling westbound on West Main Street. Marting failed to stop at a red light.

Martin’s car struck another car driven by Philip Peters, who was driving southbound on S L Roger Wells Boulevard.

Flatt says the crash caused Peters’ car to overturn. Martin’s car continued through the intersection and struck a guardrail.

Martin was taken to TJ Samson Community Hospital for injury treatment.

Peters and his passenger, a juvenile, were also taken to TJ for injury treatment.
