Glasgow Craft Innovation Campus to host ribbon-cutting with special guests

GLASGOW, Ky. – Some familiar faces from University of Kentucky Basketball will be in attendance of the Glasgow-Barren County Boys and Girls Club’s upcoming celebration.
According to the boys and girls club, the entire community is invited to the official ribbon-cutting ceremony of its new Craft Innovation Campus on Thursday, April 17.
The ceremony will take place from 11:30 a.m. t0 2:30 p.m. at 701 Columbia Ave.
In addition, University of Kentucky head basketball coach Mark Pope and his wife Lee Ann Pope, along with members of the UK basketball team, will be there to inspire youth and attendees.
The event will include opening remarks, a youth-led mission statement, the ribbon-cutting ceremony and speeches from key donors, including Kelly Craft. There will also be self-guided tours available of the new facility with interactive youth showcases.
The event is free and open to the public. Attendees can look forward to refreshments, giveaways and opportunities to meet the club’s youth and community leaders.
