Glasgow Christmas parade to impact traffic this weekend

GLASGOW, Ky. – The Glasgow Christmas Parade will cause several road closures this weekend, impacting traffic.
The Glasgow Police Department says the parade, scheduled to start at 6 p.m. this Saturday, will start on Columbia Avenue at Glasgow High School.
From there, the parade will travel down Columbia Avenue to Main Street, make a right turn and go up to and around the Glasgow public square onto South Green Street, ending at Save-A-Lot.
Closures will include Columbia Avenue from Sandwood Drive to Veterans Outer Loop starting at 5 p.m. or earlier if needed.
Scottie Drive at the school location will close at 1 p.m. or earlier if needed, police say.
In addition, police say Columbia Avenue beginning with Sandwood Drive and all side streets will close at 5:30 p.m. or earlier if needed.
The Glasgow Public Square will close at 5:30 p.m. or earlier if needed.
All roads will remain closed until the parade is completed. Clean up from the parade is scheduled to start around 8:30 p.m.
