Georgia woman indicted on theft of mail matter charge in Logan County
LOGAN COUNTY, Ky. – A Georgia woman is indicted on multiple charges, including theft of mail matter, in Logan County.
According to an indictment, 40-year-old Susan Inglett of Atlanta, Georgia has been indicted on a theft of mail matter charge after stealing mail from a postal vehicle, along with multiple other charges.
On August 30, 2024, the document states Inglett “intentionally took possession of three credit or debit cards” belonging to another person without that individual’s consent and “with knowledge that the cards had been so taken.”
In addition, the indictment states Inglett damaged a vehicle, took personal items and cash and committed credit card fraud on this same date.
Inglett has been indicted on additional charges of theft – receipt of two or more stolen credit/debit cards, second-degree criminal mischief, theft by unlawful taking or disposition, contents from vehicle, less than $500 and attempt/fraud use of credit card after report lost/stolen, less than $500.
Inglett is charged as a second-degree persistent felony offender, the document states, after previously being convicted of involuntary manslaughter.
She remains at the Logan County Jail on a $500,000 cash bond.
