Fundraiser to be held for injured Bowling Green officer

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Next Thursday at SoKY Marketplace, Cotton BBQ will provide food and offer pre-orders for a cause.

The fundraiser will benefit officer Matt Davis with the Bowling Green Police Department, who was injured Thursday in a shooting.

The event is from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The Groovy Gus Donut Bus and Rian’s Fatted Calf Meate Shoppe are also contributing. Groovy Gus Mini Donuts will closed at 10 a.m. July 13 to allow staff to fully serve at the event.

Plates will cost $13 each and will come with a pork sandwich, a bag of chips, a drink and a cookie.
