Funding awarded for 11 projects in western Kentucky

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — Gov. Andy Beshear says Delta Regional Authority grants will fund 11 projects in western Kentucky. A statement from Beshear on Monday said nearly $4.8 million will go toward projects that will update infrastructure, expand broadband and health care access, and improve opportunities for economic development. Communities that will see improvements include Henderson, Hopkins Fulton, Lincoln, Todd and Trigg counties and the cities of Elkton, Greenville, Henderson, Madisonville and Paducah. The Delta Regional Authority works to improve economic opportunities in eight states including Kentucky.
