Friday update: Coronavirus numbers in south central Kentucky

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Another high number of cases reported Friday. 1,941 new cases are in the commonwealth, bringing the states total now to 105,242.

The state’s positivity rate continues to rise on Friday, the rate is at 6.19%.

Fifteen more Kentuckians have died from the virus Friday, that brings the total number of lives lost in Kentucky to 1,476.

The Barren River District Health Department reports that Warren County has 73 new positive cases Friday. Butler and Metcalfe County have no new cases to report.

Even with these high case numbers around the area, there are no new deaths reported. The total remains at 153.
