Free oil change for single mothers in Glasgow

GLASGOW, Ky.- A local church in Glasgow is hoping to help out single mothers in the community.

This Saturday, The Highland Hills Community Church is helping so many single mothers with their annual free oil change event.
It can often be difficult for a single mom to be able to stay on top of routine car maintenance.

That’s why the church is hoping to help out. Along with the oil change, there will be food and different activities for your kids while you’re there.

The lead pastor says, “It’s a very needed service for many single mothers in the area who may not have the financial ability or the technical knowledge to change their oil. Just to be able to offer that free of charge for single moms in our community is a blessing for us, so if we can go out and bless somebody and Jesus gets the glory for, then absolutely, we’re all about it.”

You are able to pre-register for your free oil change, but it is not required – so if you’re a single mom in Glasgow, stop by the Highland Hills Community Church on Saturday.
