Free Narcan now available at local Goodwill stores

The Narcan is now available at Goodwill stores throughout Bowling Green.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A lifesaving tool is now available at local Goodwill stores.

Barren River District Health confirms that, thanks to a harm reduction team, a Naloxbox is now at each store in the Bowling Green community.

Health officials say this provides free Narcan to any community member.

Narcan is a nasal spray that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. If you have opioids in your home or know someone who is prescribed opioids or that has a substance use disorder, health officials recommend keeping Narcan on hand.
