Free booster vaccines at BGWC Humane Society

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green-Warren County Humane Society recently applied for and received a grant from the Petco Love Foundation to help provide free vaccines for cats and dogs.

The vaccines are 5 in 1 vaccines that combat several illnesses common in our household animals, which are very important to be up to date on and should be started as early as possible if you want to keep your furry friend in good health.

Humane Society staff spoke to us today about the urgency for the vaccines saying they help to combat basic yet crippling diseases in dogs and cats. Brandon Taylor, operations manager for the shelter said of course you want to start vaccinations as early as you can, but it’s never too late to stop by.

Vaccines are free and available to the public while supplies last.
