Franklin police officer injured after collision in Tennessee

WHITE HOUSE, Tenn. – We are learning more after a Franklin, Kentucky police officer was injured in a crash last night in White House, Tennessee.

According to major John Thompson with the Franklin Police Department, another vehicle struck the officer’s patrol vehicle from behind while the officer was traveling to work Wednesday night.

The officer was transported to TriStar Skyline Medical Center, authorities say.

Thompson says the officer is alert and in stable condition.
