Four Things You Need to Know: Thursday, October 31st, 2024

Happy Halloween! Before you head out the door, here are four things you need to know!
  • Today’s weather is about more tricks than treats. Gusty winds and scattered rain and storms are in the forecast.
  • The City of Bowling Green announced this week that Briarwood Drive to Wrenwood drive will be barricaded for pedestrian safety this Halloween. This is the location of the famously visited Pumpkin Alley.
  • If you aren’t sure when to start trick or treating this evening, don’t worry! City authorities for most surrounding counties say the best time to hit the streets tonight is from 4:00 to 7:30 P.M.
  • As thousands are expected to hit the streets across South Central Kentucky, you’ll want to be sure to watch for traffic congestion and higher pedestrian traffic. Just stay alert and keep an eye out for those trick-or-treaters!
