Four Things You Need to Know: Monday, March 3rd, 2025

Happy Monday!

Before you head out the door, here are four things you need to know.

  1. Meteorologist Darius Mack says it’s a frigid and frosty morning, but temperatures trend warmer this afternoon, and highs will be in the upper 50s with sunshine.
  2. Today at the Capitol Theatre, you can catch a free showing of one movie sharing the story of sisterhood- love and loss against the backdrop of post-Civil War America. That kicks off at 6:30 P.M.
  3. Tonight, the Hart County Lions Club is hosting its 85th anniversary chili supper. That will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. today. Donations will be accepted to help those in the community with vision problems.
  4. It’s Read Across America Week! Read Across America is an annual celebration of reading that schools all across the country participate in. It’s a chance to inspire more students to become avid readers and host activities that bring your whole community closer together. So get out to your local library, start a new book, and have some fun!
