Before you head out the door, here are four things you need to know.

It’s another hot day out there with temperatures having the chance to reach the nineties. Make sure you stay cool and take breaks if you do have to be outside.

Thursday is the 26th annual Stand for Children Day hosted by Community Education. It’s free to attend and registration is not required. This event brings together businesses, schools, and organizations focused on children to highlight what resources are available in our area. Stop by the Bowling Green Ballpark from 9:00-11:00 A.M. Thursday to see what your community can do for you.

Wednesday is Juneteenth and you can celebrate with a free movie at the Capitol Theatre. Kicking off at 6:00 P.M. is a family-friendly free movie night. Showing off a real story of three black trailblazers in America who changed history.

Thursday from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Broadway’s Greenwood Campus is a summer kick-off.

The first official day of summer is Thursday and you can kick things off with free food- frozen treats to keep you cool, a painting party and so much more!
