Meteorologist Darius Mack says to watch for heavy rain and strong gusty winds at times. Helene’s remnant low will spin directly over our area on Friday with additional rounds of showers and storms.
With those heavy rains, it’s a good reminder to stay weather-aware throughout the day.. You can do that by downloading the News 40 weather app on the IOS app store or the Google Play store.
Right now, we aren’t seeing any outage reports from WRECC, BGMU or Farmers RECC. News 40 will continue to keep an eye out for any weather-related damages.
