Today’s heat index is expected to reach the 100’s so if you have to be outside for more than 15 minutes, make sure you grab the sunscreen.

Concerts in the Park kicks off tonight with music by the Sidewinders. There will be plenty of food trucks available starting at 6:00 P.M. with music starting at 7:00 P.M.

Tomorrow, at 11:00 A.M. at Lost River Cave you can see butterflies being released into their natural habitat! This event is completely free and open to the public.

Today is Food Truck Friday! For this week’s food truck, we have Poke-Man and Pelican’s SnoBalls. Make sure you stop by the corner lot of Chestnut and 10th next to Tidball’s from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. today for some good eats, with a portion of proceeds going to the Aviation Heritage Park.
