Meteorologist Darius Mack says, even though it’s a chilly start to your morning, he’s tracking a much sunnier Thursday afternoon.

Since it’s a perfect day to get out and about with the family, why not swing by Mammoth Cave to visit the newly re-opened Sloan’s Crossing Pond and Picnic Area?  The area has been closed since October of 2023 for a rehabilitation project but is now open for public use.

So take advantage of the nice weather this afternoon, and go have a picnic!

Easter is three days away and there are so many ways you can get into the holiday spirit in our community! Hop over to the foundry on Saturday at 9:30 A.M. for egg hunts, games, face painting, and photos with the easter bunny.

But, the easter fun doesn’t stop there, hitting the ballpark at 10:00 A.M. is Easterfest! This egg hunt will have over thirty thousand eggs for kiddos to find with giveaways, an easter bunny appearance and so much fun to be had!
