Former WKU QB Tyrrell Pigrome enters NCAA Transfer Portal

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – One of WKU Football’s most recognizable players is on the move.

Quarterback Tyrrell Pigrome tweeted this afternoon that he will be leaving Western Kentucky and entering the NCAA’s transfer portal ahead of this upcoming season.

The man known as “Piggy T” showed flashes of brilliance for the Hiltoppers last season but was marred by inconsistent play throughout the fall.

The former Maryland signal-caller completed 57.6% of his passes for 1,603 yards, with 9 touchdowns to just 2 interceptions.

Pigrome was also a threat on the ground, rushing for 337 yards and 4 TD’s in 11 games played.
