Former Ashland Schools bus driver facing child exploitation charges

GREENUP, Ky. – Kentucky Police Police says a former bus driver solicited sexual images from a juvenile.
KSP investigated Jeremy Irvin, 29, following information from the Ashland Police Department. The department says it received text messages sent by Irvin soliciting explicit images from a minor.
KSP obtained a search warrant and seized equipment to commit the alleged crimes on December 16.
KSP believes no other juveniles are involved in the investigation.
Irvin was employed as a bus driver for Ashland Independent Schools.
Irvin is charged with multiple counts of possession of matter portraying a minor under the age of 12 in a sexual performance and promoting a minor under the age of 12 in a sexual performance.
Irvin was lodged at the Greenup County Detention Center.
