Forest fire hazard season begins in Kentucky on Feb. 15

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Forest fire hazard season is right around the corner in Kentucky.
Starting Thursday, Feb. 15, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. it is unlawful for a person to set fire to or procure another person to set fire to any flammable material that could spread fire, including within 150 feet of any woodland or brush, unless the ground is covered in snow.
All fires should be attended until they are extinguished.
