UPDATE: 1 flown after rollover crash on I-165 in Warren County

UPDATE (March 14, 12:30 pm): Kentucky State Police issued a release on this accident on Friday.

On Wednesday, KSP says it responded to an injury collision just after 3 pm at the 4-mile marker on northbound I-165.

KSP’s initial investigation indicates a vehicle driven by Emma Valles, 54, of Bowling Green, was entering I-165 northbound from Russellville Road. Valles’ vehicle crossed both lanes and the median into the southbound lane.

Valles’ vehicle entered the path of a commercial vehicle driven by Charles Toll, 62, of Beech Creek. Valles’ vehicle struck Toll’s vehicle.

Valles was flown to TriStar Skyline Medical Center for treatment.

The investigation is ongoing.

Warren County EMS assisted at the scene.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – One person has reportedly been flown following a rollover crash in Warren County.

According to Bowling Green Fire Department public information officer Katie McKee, a van rolled onto its side with entrapment Wednesday on Interstate 165 southbound near exit 5.

Kentucky State Police public affairs officer trooper Katan Parker has since confirmed the van and a tractor-trailer collided, with KSP being dispatched at 3 p.m. He says one female was flown for treatment.

The Woodburn Fire Department additionally responded to the scene and has since confirmed the driver’s door was removed to extricate them from the vehicle.

Just before 2 p.m. Thursday, Parker confirmed the driver was in stable condition.
