Firefighters respond to house fire in Hiseville

HISEVILLE, Ky. – Units responded to a house fire Wednesday in Hiseville.

According to Hiseville Volunteer Fire Department chief Dustin Phillips, units were dispatched at roughly 5:30 p.m. to a house fire on Park Street in Hiseville.

Upon arrival, Phillips says smoke was visible coming from the structure.

Phillips says firefighters entered the structure and extinguished the fire.

He says the homeowners were not home at the time of the fire. No injuries have been reported.

Phillips says the fire was contained to the kitchen.

Hiseville volunteer fire was assisted by Cave City and North Metcalfe fire departments, as well as Barren Metcalfe EMS.
