Firefighters respond to Glasgow structure fire
GLASGOW, Ky. – The Glasgow Fire Department responded to a structure fire over the weekend.
On Saturday, a release by the department says Glasgow firefighters responded to 205 American Avenue for a fire alarm activation at 3A Composites USA Inc.
Upon arrival, fire officials say employees at the business assisted with gaining entry using the back gate on the property.
Glasgow fire officials say firefighters then learned a grinder had caught on fire, and employees were unable to put the fire out with extinguishers.
Firefighters entered the factory and were able to extinguish the fire.
Once a knock down was confirmed, the Glasgow Fire Department then sent a crew to check for any additional fire extension.
No injuries were reported.
