Firefighters find 2 dead, 2 injured in residential blaze

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Authorities say they found two people dead and two others injured in a house fire in Kentucky. A statement from the Louisville Fire Department says firefighters were dispatched around 3 a.m. Thursday and arrived to find a heavy blaze at the one-story home. The statement said two people were found dead inside the home. Officials say fire crews rescued another person and a fourth occupant got out before emergency personnel arrived. Both injured people were treated and taken to a local hospital. Updated conditions were not immediately available. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
