Fire School coming to Bowling Green in 2021

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – For the first time in it’s existence, the South Central Kentucky Firefighters Association is announcing its first 2021 Fire School.

The fire school will be open to all emergency first responders to receive training they may not otherwise be able to receive easily utilizing the Kentucky Fire Commission’s training props.

The Fire School will also have some unique training at some area attractions.

The goal of the school is to bring emergency personnel together to work together so they can be better prepared for real emergencies, according to South Central Kentucky Firefighters Association’s board member David Oliver.

The school will be held at the Western Kentucky University’s Carol Knicely Center on April 16 through 18.
