Field of flags blankets Warren East High School

BOWLING GREEN Ky.- In observance of Veterans Day on Nov. 11 a field of small American POW/MIA flags is blanketing the front lawn of Warren East High School.

In a tweet by the school, the public is urged to drive by and view it if they get the chance. According to the tweet, ribbons will be added with the names of veterans that students and teachers would like to honor.

Also in observance of Veterans Day, another Warren County School, Briarwood Elementary will have students wear red, white and blue Tuesday and Wednesday. A virtual presentation honoring veterans will be held at Briarwood Elementary on Tuesday.
