FEMA offering childcare assistance to some with disaster-related expenses

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Kentucky disaster survivors may be eligible for FEMA childcare assistance, even if they did not have property damage from the May 21-27 severe storms.

According to a release, FEMA says they may award payment for childcare assistance to those with disaster-related caused childcare expenses, even if the homeowner’s property was not necessarily impacted itself.

To apply, you’ll need to provide both pre- and post-disaster income information, along with paying a one-time registration and health inventory fee.

Kentuckians in Butler, Caldwell, Calloway, Christian, Clay, Greenup, Hopkins, Knox, Logan, Muhlenberg, Simpson, Todd, Trigg, Warren and Whitley counties.
