Feel Good Friday – The Green Book Connection

Bowling Green has a lot of history; unfortunately, not all of it is good.

During segregation, African-American travelers needed guides to keep themselves safe in an unknown city.

The Green Book was created for that purpose.

In today’s Feel Good Friday, we learn about Nancy’s Tea Room, an establishment that was once a welcoming place to African-American travelers.

Ski Daddy’s is open at the location seen above from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Wednesday.
