Feeding America Kentucky’s Heartland leases warehouse for new distro center

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Coming soon to Bowling Green, Feeding America Kentucky’s Heartland will use a newly leased 12,000 square foot warehouse to house hundreds upon hundreds of pounds of food for their many partners in their 42 county service area.

Speaking to Charles Dennis, the executive director, he said, logistically speaking, this is a great location to have a warehouse as they continue their fight against hunger. The warehouse will be up and running at full capacity sometime in October, preceded by an event day on September 9 to better introduce the organization to the area as a permanent fixture.

Dennis said he and the rest of the team are excited to start this new leg of their campaign.
