Feeding America, food distribution centers prepare for 2026

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – One organization is fighting hunger and creating several spaces for people to receive the resources they need to survive.

Feeding America, Kentucky’s Heartland has announced food distributions throughout the Commonwealth for 2026.

Food pantries and food distribution centers provide extra help to anyone in need. Ending hunger isn’t just accomplished by one organization. It also takes support from the community.

Charles Dennis, the executive director at Feeding America Kentucky’s Heartland, tells us, “Having partnerships with so many agencies throughout our 42-county service area is that they are hyper-local, a connection to the community. And so while we are kind of at a regional standpoint where we’re working in 42 counties, our agencies know their neighbors and know the communities incredibly well.”
