Feed the Force gathers community to support law enforcement

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A local nonprofit that supports law enforcement held its largest fundraiser in Bowling Green.

On Thursday afternoon, South Central Kentucky Crime Stoppers hosted its fifth annual Feed the Force event at SoKY Marketplace.

Local law enforcement officials were treated to a free lunch, and those in attendance made donations and received a lunch.

Proceeds from the event benefit South Central Kentucky Crime Stoppers’ mission to connect the public, media and police in the fight against crime.

Deputies, jailers and officers also had the chance to engage with the community.

Food trucks included Cotton BBQ, South Cow and Wicked Potato.
