Fatal crash shuts down part of I-65 in Hart County

MUNFORDVILLE, Ky.- A portion of Interstate 65 southbound in Hart County will be closed for at least the next six hours as troopers with Kentucky State Police investigate a fatal crash.

According to Trooper Daniel Priddy, four vehicles, including a semi-truck were involved in the crash Friday evening at mile marker 55.

Priddy said one person was killed and several others were taken to area hospitals.

As of 9:20 p.m. Priddy did not know the extent of injuries. The injured included children.
