Fatal collision in Warren County

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – This morning around 6:50 a.m., Kentucky State Police received a call in reference to a single vehicle injury collision near the 33.8 mile marker of Interstate 65.

According to a release, preliminary investigation indicates that James L. Lambert, 33, of Bowling Green, was operating a 2008 Chevrolet Avalanche when his vehicle exited the left shoulder of the roadway and struck a tree.

Lambert was pronounced deceased on the scene.
