Farmers RECC provides outage update

GLASGOW, Ky. – Farmers Rural Electric Cooperative is working hard to restore power outages that occurred due to severe weather.
According to Farmers RECC, crews made good progress on Thursday morning.
Currently, they report having 20 individual outages, which impact 265 members.
“We know our members without power are frustrated, we are too,” they stated.” “But we will not stop until we have everyone on. We know it’s frustrating to not know exactly when the power will be back on. This phase of our restoration will be the most tedious process of storm recovery.”
Farmers RECC says many of the outages left impact smaller groups or single members, which means each outage restored will only bring power back to a few members at a time.
They thank crews from Nolin RECC, Groves Electrical, Townsend Tree Service and Kendall Vegetation for their assistance.
The cooperative says crews will be there around the clock until all members are restored.
